Each month, your donations allow Vinnies to help 1860+ individuals in Peterborough.

Our Food Pantry is located at 256 Murray St. (Corner of Bethune and Murray)

How Food Pantry Works

Get help with food pantry

Anyone in need within Peterborough city is eligible.

Proof of Address, Proof of income and ID for every member in your family.

You are allotted points based on the size of your family. You choose what is needed and used by your family.

You are given a receipt with a date for your next visit if you should need us again. You are allowed to visit us every 4 weeks.

256 Murray St. (corner of Murray and Bethune) We are open Wed & Sat. 9:00 am to 11:30 am

We have lists available of other food banks and it is also available on the Kawartha Food Share Web site here.

Donate Food to Food Pantry

Are you decluttering? Have the kids outgrown their clothes? Do you want to donate furniture you no longer use? Vinnies stores need your great quality items to help fund our charity programs across the country.

We are devoted to the prevention of poverty and homelessness. We work to support friends in need by providing them with a hand up, not just a hand out.
